The new Academic year began on July 4, 2011 with opening worship. Rev. Samuel Macgregor, President of the PTS board addressed the PTS community including some local board members present. The worship was followed by a community meal. On the following days, the Faculty and Staff held meetings to evaluate the previous year and to discuss various issues for the current year.
 
Welcome to New Students: Twenty one new students joined this year from eleven different states of India for the Bachelor of Theology (BTh) and Master of Divinity (MDiv) degree programs. During the Opening Session  on 20 July 2011 the new students were presented with a copy of the ESV Study Bible. These Bibles were gifted to the students by a friend of the Seminary from the Netherlands.
